Team Alpha Male Welcomes Paige VanZant

Sacramento, CA- Team Alpha Male is pleased to announce that “12 Gauge” Paige Vanzant has joined the roster of elite fighters training in Sacramento, CA. Vanzant relocated from Nevada, where she had risen from ring girl to amateur standout to Invicta alum. Although Vanzant expressed regret over leaving her home state, she welcomed the opportunity to access the wealth of experience available at Ultimate Fitness Center. “Team Alpha Male is really well known for their lower weight fighters. Being able to work out with guys like Urijah [Faber] and Joseph [Benavidez] and other women like Veronica [Rothenhausler] is going to be great.”
Faber also looked forward to having Vanzant on board. “She’s currently 3-1 in pro fights and has already came out on top of some serious competition,” Faber said. “We [Team Alpha Male] are always on the lookout for rising stars. Vanzant is definitely going to be an asset to the team, especially training with the lower weights.”
Vanzant last fought at Cage Wars 15 in Castle Rock, CO, where she submitted Courtney Himes with a rear-naked choke at 2:22 in the first round.
